Borbet is constructing a new production plant for lightweight alloy wheels in the East Saxony town of Kodersdorf, with the first phase of excavation work such as the straightening out of the hall area, already completed.
The post-and-beam structures for the hall building are currently being erected and the second construction phase with completion of the production halls is due to finish at the end of October,
This will immediately be followed by the installation of first equipment such as painting machines of surface treatment of lightweight alloy wheels.
“Our progress during the past days and weeks has benefited from the good weather we have experienced,” said Borbet CEO, Reiner Durkop.
“This enables us to be right on schedule and meet the target we set ourselves – the completion of the production site at the end of December 2015.”
