Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) Serbia has resumed production activities at its Kragujevac factory, local media reported.
“Today we work regularly, in shifts from 0600 to 1400 and from 1400 to 2200,” news agency Tanjug quoted the leader of Nezavisnost trade union at the Kragujevac factory, Zoran Stanic, as saying, SeeNews.com reported.

Workers still did not have official information on how much they would work this summer, considering they usually take annual leave in August, Stanic said.
FCA suspended production at Kragujevac on 16 March, together with factories in Italy and Poland, due to a drop in in market demand caused by the coronavirus pandemic.
The group said it planned to use the stoppage to implement revisions to production and quality control protocols and to work with its supply base and business partners to be ready to enable manufacturing operations to deliver previously planned total levels of production despite the suspension when market demand returned.
According to GlobalData’s factory finder, Kragujevac has capacity for 100,000 vehicles a year and builds variants of the Fiat 500L.
