Avtovaz has signed a contract with its local partner Russo Motors to sell cars in Mongolia.
The first Lada dealership opened in Ulaanbaatar, the capital of Mongolia. Lada says the new showroom meets the visual identification requirements of the brand as well as customer service standards. The staff of the dealership have also been trained in sales and maintenance of the Lada cars.

Lada is offering Lada Vesta Cross sedan, the Lada Vesta SW Cross and 3-door version of the Lada 4×4 in. Later this year Lada, along with Russo Motors plans to start sales of the Lada Xray Cross and the 5-door version of the Lada 4×4, as well as the cars of the Lada Granta and Lada Largus families.
Lada Export director Max Missana said “Lada cars are popular with local customers due to their modern design, in-built features and competitive price. We have ambitious plans for Lada in the Mongolian market, and with the likely renewal of the Russian state logistic export support programs, Lada will capture 15 % of the Mongolian car market.”
