Britain’s Road Haulage Association (RHA) is calling on new UK Prime Minister, Boris Johnson to ensure borders between the UK and EU remain free flowing after Brexit.

“It’s vital for UK businesses Johnson ensures firms can continue to move goods freely across our borders once we leave the EU,” said RHA chief executive, Richard Burnett, noting businesses are frustrated with a lack of clarity from the government on what is expected of them and how new systems will work.

“We urge the Prime Minister to ensure his government puts the right systems in place and gives firms the support they need to continue transporting freight efficiently,” he added.
