Kongsberg Automotive has appointed Joerg Buchheim as new Chief Executive Officer and president, effective 1 May, 2021, at the latest.
Buchheim currently serves as president & CEO of Inalfa Roof Systems.

Buchheim has led complex automotive supplier businesses in situations of growth as well as restructuring. Having served almost 15 years at Tier-1 lighting and electronics specialist, Hella, he played a pivotal role in profitably growing the supplier’s business in China.
Since 2012, he held overall responsibility for the growth region as president & CEO, Hella China and later also joined the group executive board of Hella. Since 2016, Buchheim served as president & CEO of Inalfa Roof Systems, based in the Netherlands, where he shaped the future of Inalfa Group by driving a turnaround programme.
To ensure a smooth leadership transition, Norbert Loers and Robert Pigg will continue as interim co-CEOs until Buchheim starts on 1 May, 2021, at the latest.
