Porsche sales rose 3% to 202,318 vehicles worldwide in the first nine months of 2019.

Cayenne volume was up 25% to 62,022 while Macan sales rose 9% to 73,967.

China sales rose 14% to 64,237 while US volume grew 6% to 45,062.

Asia-Pacific, Africa and Middle East regions saw a rise of 11% to 86,235.

Deliveries fell in Europe due to the conversion to WLTP and gasoline particulate filters, which led to gaps in the available vehicle range in the first months of the year.

"The growth in China and the US makes us positive about achieving our overall targets for the year," said Detlev von Platen, sales and marketing chief.

Taycan is Porsche's first all-electric model and sales start in the US from the end of this year with Europe following in the first few months of 2020.
