Belcan, a global supplier of engineering, supply chain, technical recruiting, and information technology (IT) services to industry including automotive, has acquired Allegiant International, an outsourcer to multiple industries, also including automotive.
Terms of the transaction, closed on June 13, were not disclosed. Belcan is a company owned by AE Industrial Partners (AEI), a private investor in aerospace, power generation, and specialty industrial companies.

Allegiant, based in Indianapolis, Indian, is a professional services network in three lines of service: advisory, tactical operations, and technical services.
It says it "offers the capabilities of a top multinational advisory and consultancy firm, the tactical resources of a best-in-class specialty service enterprise, and the efficiency advantages of a business process outsourcing partner".
Services include supporting automotive supply chains, it works with some of the largest global auto OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers and, in 2017, received the General Motors supplier of the year award for the second consecutive year.
