Bulgaria’s Lovech Municipality says German supplier, Voss Automotive is to create 1,000 new jobs by utilising an existing factory in Bahovitsa.
The German supplier will start production within six months and will also lease an administrative building located in the Bahovitsa Industrial Park.
Lovech municipality added it is committed to helping Voss to provide administrative services so production can start within six months.
“The opening [creation] of new jobs is of utmost importance to our city and I believe this will immediately affect positively in all spheres of public life,” said Mayor, Cornelia Marinova.
Voss visited other cities in northern Bulgaria, but finally plumped for Bahovitsa. New production will start in the second quarter of 2019 and will focus on passenger car components.
Voss is a mechanical engineering company based in Wipperfurth, Germany. It consists of Voss Holding with its subsidiaries Voss Automotive and VOSS Fluid, as well as twelve foreign companies with production and service functions together with sales locations.
