DaimlerChrysler’s Chrysler operation has widened interest-free loans and offerered more generous cash rebates, according to Reuters.

Chrysler following similar moves Tuesday by Ford and GM by saying on Thursday it would now offer five-year no-interest loans for minivans and 2.9% 60-month loans on all 2003 cars previously offered with an interest rate of 4.9%, the Reuters report said.
Chrysler also cut 2% off its standard 36- and 48-month loans and raised “cashback” deals on popular models such as the Jeep Grand Cherokee, to $2,500 from $1,000, Reuters added, noting that the new incentives are on offer until November 4.
