Robert Bosch Corporation has appointed Uwe Kirberg vice president, component engineering development and component design for the chassis division, effective January 1, replacing Sigmar Micke, who retires on December 31.
Kirberg will be responsible for all braking component design and development in North America and will also lead design engineering for the foundation brake and wheel-end product lines worldwide.
Kirberg has been with Bosch 17 years and has held a variety of engineering positions in Germany and the United States. Most recently, he was vice president of programme management for the chassis division.
