A Bose sound system and traction control are now standard on the “25M” version, while DVD navigation and water-repellent windscreen are added to the “25M Luxury Package.” New body colours are offered at Mazda and Anfini dealerships throughout Japan.

By Japanese standards, the Millenia is an old car relatively little changed since its 1993 debut as the Eunos 800 with an emphasis on “standards that will last for 10 years”.
It has also been exported to Europe and North America and is best known abroad for introducing a Miller cycle forced-induction engine option.

So-called ‘major changes’ were last made to the Millenia in July 2000 when the normally-aspirated two-litre engine was dropped, styling lightly revised and equipment upgraded.
