The world’s largest motor company, General Motors Corp., and Fuji Heavy Industries Ltd, the maker of Subaru cars, may tie-up in China as part of their joint alliance formed last year, says Bloomberg News (24/8/00).
According to the report, the move will allow GM, which already owns 21% of Fuji Heavy, to double its market share in the Asia-Pacific region to 10 per cent by 2004, equating to 240,000 vehicles per annum.
