AB Volvo’s subsidiary, Renault Trucks, has received an order from the French Armed Forces covering delivery of 2,820 trucks. AB Volvo says the order is estimated at a value of EUR 160 M (about SEK 1.5 billion) during a five-year period.

The trucks ordered, the GBC 180 model, will be manufactured at Renault’s plant in Limoges, France.
Deliveries will begin immediately and continue during a five-year period. The GBC 180 is the predominant truck in the French Armed Forces.
