Daimler's Mercedes-Benz increased its unit sales in November by 12.7% year on year to 182,602 vehicles, achieving a 45th consecutive record month.
With over 1,893,000 vehicles delivered since the beginning of 2016, the brand has passed its full-year 2015 result in the first 11 months of this year.
"With double-digit growth since the beginning of the year, we surpassed last year's total unit sales by the Mercedes-Benz brand already in November. This makes 2016 a new record year," said Ola Källenius, marketing & sales head.
Unit sales in Europe increased by 16.7% to 78,797 vehicles, a November record.
Asia-Pacific region sales rose 14.7% to a record 63,918.
NAFTA region sales rose 3.1% to 35,168 with US volume up 1.1%.

SUV sales rose 17.5% to 61,266 units, a new record. Growth was especially strong last month for the GLC.
Smart sales rose 15.9% to 12,565 units in November with record volume for the month achieved in Europe, Asia-Pacific and NAFTA.
The 100,000th Smart sold in China was delivered last month, too.
