Porsche's supervisory board has named Albrecht Reimold member of the executive board for production and logistics from 1 February, 2016. He replaces Oliver Blume, chairman of the executive board since October.

Reimold will move to Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen from Bratislava, where for four years he managed the VW plant at which the Porsche Cayenne body is also made. The supervisory board also appointed Jürgen Rittersberger Porsche AG executive manager with immediate effect.

Reimold trained as a toolmaker, studied production technology and started work as at Audi where he has since managed A8 body construction and A2 manufacturing. From 2002, he headed production planning of the A6, A8 and R8 models. He was also responsible for the Audi Neckarsulm plant's planning division, which he managed for three years before being appointed executive board chairman at VW Slovakia. He has also worked on production planning for the Changchun site in China.

Rittersberger has been with Porsche since 2002, working initially as a project manager in the process optimisation department and then five years later as central office head of the then newly formed Porsche Automobil Holding SE. In 2010, the information systems graduate moved back to Porsche AG and has since worked as vice president general secretariat and business development.
