The supervisory board at Daimler named Renata Jungo Brüngger to the management board effective 1 January, 2016. She will take over responsibility for integrity and legal affairs, succeeding Christine Hohmann-Dennhardt. Brüngger’s appointment runs to 31 December, 2018. The Swiss citizen is a lawyer with a masters degree in international commercial law, specialising in intellectual property rights and technology and information rights.

She is currently Daimler’s head of legal and previously was general counsel corporate EMEA and VP/general counsel Emerson process management EMEA at Emerson Electric in Switzerland.

With her competence, Brüngger will make a major contribution to the further development of Daimler’s high standards in the fields of integrity, compliance and legal affairs,” suervisory board chairman Manfred Bischoff said in a statement.
