Renault is planning to launch an entry level car in India, with a launch expected by 2015, as it looks to bolster its market share up to 5%, CarDekho.com reported.

The company looks to develop vehicles that will match the car purchasing habits of Indian customers.

Renault, which unveiled its KWID concept at Auto Expo 2014 in New Delhi, will produce the upcoming small car in India, The Economic Times reported. The underpinnings of the new car could be shared with the redi-GO, according to CarDekho.com.

Meanwhile, Renault also plans to tap the MPV market in the country. It is likely to launch the [Dacia] Lodgy in India.
