Ashok Leyland has won an an order worth US$50m from the Zimbabwe government for the supply of 670 commercial vehicles.
“The company has bagged a contract from the Ministry of Tourism and Hospitality Industry, Government of Zimbabwe, for supply of 670 vehicles valued at approx $ 50 million,” Ashok Leyland said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.

The filing also said that the order is planned to be executed in the financial year 2014-15.
The vehicle order includes the supply of trucks and buses.
