Mitsubishi Motors Corp.’s Australian subsidiary announced Monday (18/9/00) the recall of its Gallant passenger model to fix front suspension problems, says Kyodo News/Associated Press (18/9/00).

The announcement – affecting the model imported between 1993 and 1994 and involving around 3,000 cars – comes on the back of another recall for Mitsubishi’s Lancer car said to have a loose pulley bolt in the engine, says the report citing a Mitsubishi spokesman.
