Honda Cars India will start manufacturing vehicles at its new Rajasthan plant in the next financial year [starting 1 April].
Components are already being produced at the INR25bn (US$463.68m) plant at Tappugada in Rajasthan’s Alwar district.

Its car production capacity will be the same as the Greater Noida plant, 120,000 units a year, reported Hindu Business Line.
Shigeru Yamazaki, senior vice-president and director, marketing and sales of Honda Cars India, said the company planned to introduce five new models by 2015.
