AvtoVAZ will reduce its sales forecast for 2013 in May, CEO Igor Komarov has told the Prime Tass news service. This followed a decline in sales last month.
Komarov added: “We think that in April there will be negative figures as well, compared with April 2012. We will correct the sales forecast accordingly.”

The current sales forecast for 2013 is at 550,000 cars, while the output forecast is at 800,000 units. In March, sales fell 4.2% year on year to 47,745.
