Mitsubishi Motors began production of a new mini-car at its Mizushima plant in Kurashiki, Okayama Prefecture, Japan this week. 

The car, which offers best-in-class fuel-economy, high quality interiors and advanced systems such touch-screen automatic air conditioning systems, will go on sale in June under the Mitsubishi eK Wagon and eK Custom and Nissan DAYZ and DAYZ Highway STAR badges.
