Top Indian truck maker Tata Engineering and Locomotive Co said on Tuesday that vehicle sales in November rose 15% from a year earlier to 15,699 units, according to Reuters.

TELCO said in a statement total vehicle sales for the financial year so far stood at 126,812 units, Reuters said, which was 25% higher than in the corresponding period a year earlier.
According to Reuters, TELCO said it sold 8,113 trucks and buses during the month, 22% more than a year earlier.
The company, which also makes utility vehicles and cars, said it sold 1,828 utility vehicles, almost unchanged from a year ago. It sold 5,758 units of its sole passenger car, the Indica, 11% more than a year earlier, Reuters added.
