Takehiko Kikuchi, currently deputy general manager of Asia and Oceania Department at Nissan Motor, will become president of Nissan Korea from 1 July.
Kikuchi joined Nissan in 1991 and has held a number of positions including product marketing and area marketing manager in Japan, as well as China and India business.

“Kikuchi’s career in Nissan has prepared him perfectly to lead the Korea business,” said Takayuki Kimura, Nissan’s regional vice president of Asia and Oceania. “I am excited to have another strong sales and marketing executive to take on this very important role.”
Current Korea chief Kenji Naito will return to Nissan global headquarters in Yokohama for a new assignmentfrom 1 July.
Naito was appointed to his current role as president of Nissan Korea in April 2010. With the Infiniti FX30d and M30d, he headed the introduction of the first Japanese diesel models in Korea.
“Naito brought new value to Nissan Korea and enhanced teamwork within the operations there. His efforts and contribution to the business in Korea are invaluable assets for this next phase,” added Kimura. “I am confident that he will be back in the front line again soon and continue to be an important sales executive for Nissan in the future.”
