New vehicle sales in Taiwan expanded by 6.6% year-on-year to 34,327 units in October, according to local industry sources.
Market leader Hotai Motor, which distributes Toyota and Lexus vehicles, sold 11,531 units last month, for a market share of 33.6%. Yulon Nissan sold 3,255 units, while Honda sold 2,451 units.

Total sales in the first ten months of the year increased by 14.3% to 348,083 units, with Yulon Motor now expecting full-year sales to reach 400,000 units.
