Škoda has started production of the Škoda Rapid Spaceback, a C-segment five-door hatchback. The model is being built at Škoda’s main factory in Mladá Boleslav and gets its world premiere at the Frankfurt Motor Show.
Launch on European markets starts in October.

In order to accommodate the manufacture of the Rapid Spaceback, Škoda says it adapted the operations and expanded the facilities at the Mladá Boleslav plant.
The Rapid Spaceback is produced alongside the current Fabia model on one production line. Apart from these models, Škoda also produces the Octavia, Octavia Combi and Rapid in Mladá Boleslav.
