Toyota Boshoku says its Asian regional management hub will start a new interior production operation, Boshoku Automotive, to supply interior, filter and powertrain components in an investment worth US$18m.
The new company will start production of silencers and other interior components in the latter half of next year, with a future expansion aim to include seats and door trim.
