General Motors (GM) has appointed Dunne & Co’s Michael Dunne as president of the company’s Indonesian operations. He started 1 September.
Dunne replaced Marcos Purty who, after nearly three years in the country will take up a new job at GM beginning of 2014, Reuters reported.

The two will work together until the end of 2013.
GM’s new international operations chief Stefan Jacoby said: “Michael Dunne brings two decades of automotive experience in major Asian markets, including China, Thailand and Indonesia. He has a deep understanding of the business across the region.”
