The car features a new 1.3 litre petrol engine with a class leading fuel consumption of 26km/litre, which is in line with previous generation Honda hybrids, along with high power output.

The Hybrid version switches automatically between EV Drive, Hybrid Drive and Engine Drive, depending on driving conditions, allowing it to deliver the lowest fuel consumption in Japan of 36.4km/litre.
