Reuters reported the seat belt harness connector might not have been properly wired which could lead to front passenger air bag deactivation.

The company will recall 7,079 cars in a recall which should be announced by 5 January 2015.

There have been no reports of accidents or injuries due to the issue but JLR has received three field reports about the problem.
