That compared with a 61 percent increase in September, China Daily said.

In the first 10 months of the year, sales rose 52% to 741,818.
Ford has now overtaken Toyota whose sales grew only 4.9% during the first 10 months to 719,200 units.
The local partners are Chongqing ChangAn (cars) and Jiangling Motors (LCVs).
