Lancia on Monday announced its new Lancia line blending two Italian models – Delta and Ypsilon – with rebadged US Chryslers.
Next month’s Geneva show will see the launch of the fourth generation Ypsilon which will go on sale from June in Europe markets and from September under the Chrysler badge in Great Britain and Ireland.

There are two petrol engines – a 69hp 1.2 litre, I4 eight valve and 85hp 0.9-litre I2 TwinAir, the latter also offered with semi-automatic gearbox; plus a 95hp 1.3 litre MultiJet II turbodiesel and a 1.2 8V petrol/LPG.
On sale from October in all European dealerships, the new Thema – nee redesigned Chrysler 300C – will be offered with two trim levels – Gold and Platinum – and three engines: the 292hp 3.6 litre V6 petrol engine with eight speed ZF automatic gearbox and 190hp or 224hp three litre V6 diesels, both with five speed automatic. This line is also expected to be sold – but badged Chrysler – in the UK from 2012.
Lancia’s version of the Grand Voyager replaces the Phedra in left hand drive markets.
It will come with three trim levels (Silver, Gold and Platinum) and two engines: a 283hp 3.6 litre petrol V6 and a 163hp 2.8 litre turbodiesel.
