AvtoVAZ is raising the prices of its Lada cars by 2.4% from Monday to counter rising costs and taxes.
The company said that last year spending on car production increased as it prepared upgraded vehicles to meet Euro-4 emission standards. Excise duties connected with engine capacity also increased.
