Audi will launch seven new models in India and add 10 dealers to its current network of 15 this year.
Michael Perschke, head of the brand’s India operations, said added that parent group Volkswagen also plans to double its component sourcing from India to EUR700m (US$924m) in 2012.

Last year Audi sold just over 5,500 cars in India and is targeting sales of 8,000 in the current calendar year, in line with luxury car sales growth of around 50% in the country.
