Mitsubishi Motors China has announced that it is opening a new management company in Shanghai to help improve its position in China.
The new company, Mitsubishi Motors Management (China) Co., Ltd., was registered in late December of last year and will commence operations in April. Some forty staff have been hired.

The company hopes to use the new branch to further strengthen its management system in China.
Konishi Masahide, current executive officer for Mitsubishi Motor Sales, will assume the position of executive officer, while Koga Masazumi will take the role of president.
Mitsubishi said that the new venture will set new standards for the company’s technology and quality management in China.
