Car sales in China rose 6.5% to 1.35m units in China in March.

The growth rate rose from a two-year low point in February but was below that seen in March 2010, according to Reuters.

The China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM) said year to date sales were up 9.1% to 3,843,000.

Total vehicle sales were 1,828,500 (+5.4%) last month and 4,983,700 (+8.1%) in the first quarter.
