Panasonic Automotive Systems’ operating profit for full year 2011 plunged to JPY4.9bn (US$61.2m) from JPY22.7bn a year ago due mainly to insufficient cost cutting.
Sales increased 7% to JPY653.2bn on strong sales of components and devices for eco-cars including batteries for hybrids.
