Joint ventures reporting sales increases for the month included Shanghai GM, Shanghai Volkswagen, SAIC GM Wuling and Shanghai Sunwin Bus, a three-way tie between SAIC Motor, Volvo China Investment and Volvo Bus.
However, the group’s own-brand passenger vehicle company reported sales down in April.
