Geely Automobile Holdings will announce details of technological cooperation with Volvo Car in two to three months at the earliest, a senior executive said.
Volvo Car, owned by Geely parent Zhejiang Geely Holding Group, would proceed with broad cooperation with Geely in areas such as technology through a dialogue and cooperation committee set up last November, Geely chief executive Gui Shengyue told Reuters on Wednesday.

“It’s too early to talk about details, but we will make an announcement in two to three months at the earliest,” he said.
Zhejiang Geely bought Volvo Car last August from Ford for US$1.3bn in cash and an issue of $200m notes.
Gui added that China’s macro-economic controls would not affect Geely, which produces mainly economy models. “We are confident of achieving our annual sales target.”
