Mando announced the completion of its anti-lock brake system (ABS) manufacturing plant in Limeira, Brazil. The plant is built on an area of 55,000 square metres and has a factory floor space of 13,000 square metres.

According to The Korea Herald, Mando is said to have invested US$50m into the plant that will hire around 100 local employees.

The company also plans to expand output to allow manufacturing of automobile suspension and steering components.

Brasília, the capital city of Brazil, has demanded that ABS be mandatory on all cars sold after 2014.
