Nissan luxury brand Infiniti has opened its first retail outlet in the Dominican Republic. Santo Domingo Motors Company’s Infiniti Centre is in the capital city of Santo Domingo.
“It is a privilege for us to be launching such an admired luxury brand in the Dominican Republic,” said the distributor’s VP Juan Velazquez.

Local launch marketing efforts will be based on the concept of “now and then,” using the tagline: ‘Since now (desde ahora)’.
The new centre is a stand alone 3,200 sq m facility with both showroom and service shop. The Infiniti range in the Dominican Republic is the G37 sedan and coupe plus M37 luxury sedan, QX56 full-size SUV, FX35 and FX50 performance crossovers and new JX35 luxury crossover.
Founded in 1920, Santo Domingo Motors is the distributor of Nissan, GM, and Suzuki brands and also the local franchisee for National and Alamo car rental companies operating eight rental points within Dominican Republic with a fleet of more than 600 vehicles. Affiliate companies within the region include Motorambar in Puerto Rico (Nissan, Infiniti, Kia) and Autoambar in Venezuela (Nissan).
