The UK’s van and truck market was stable in June, dipping 0.4% to 25,864 registrations, with the ‘rolling year’ up 2.6% to 294,549.
Truck registrations were up 14.7% to 3,577 last month with the rolling year up 25% to 47,848.

Van registrations were down 2.5% to 22,287 units in June and the rolling year down 0.9% to 246,701.
“The commercial vehicle market stabilised in June, down just 0.4%, after a changeable few months. Truck volumes remained strong, up 14.7% in the month while van numbers dipped 2.5%,” said SMMT chief executive Paul Everitt.
“The trend for the commercial vehicle market is generally stable, but it is far from settled and is likely to follow the course of the UK and European economy in the second half of the year.”
