Nissan Motor said it sold 678,000 motor vehicles in China in the first six months of this year, up 14% year on year.

The automaker’s monthly auto sales in China reached 119,200 units in June, a jump of 10.3%, the Xinhua news agency reported.

Dongfeng Nissan, the automaker’s joint venture with Dongfeng Motor, sold 86,400 motor vehicles in June, up 21.9%, boosting its total sales to 454,800 units in the first half of 2012, up 21.7%.
