Honda Motor said on Friday its Argentina unit had started exporting flex-fuel City models to Brazil, marking the first time that Argentinian-made Hondas had been shipped outside the local market.
Honda Motor de Argentina, based in Buenos Aires, began exporting the sedan on Tuesday. It began manufacturing the vehicle in March 2011 with an eye to shipping 6,500 units worth a combined US$150m by the end of the year, the company said.
