Renault–Nissan could start producing cars based on the Lada Granta platform at the end of 2013 according to Igor Komarov, president of the alliance’s Russian partner AvtoVAZ.

He told the Russian online newspaper Gazeta.ru that the alliance planned to agree on the conditions of the production of cars on the Granta platform.
