According to LS Cable and System, the Ministry of Knowledge Economy plans to increase electric vehicles’ share of the local market for new vehicles to 20% by 2020 and for 2.2m chargers to have been supplied by that year, offering good prospects for the market.

The company said that as the device meets the International Electric Commission’s standards, its development will also enable the company to enter the global market for electric vehicle chargers in which US and Japanese firms currently have the lead.
