Kongsberg Automotive has won a contract with a major European OEM for the supply of a manual gear shifter system for a range of unspecified van models sold in the European market.
The contract has a total value of EUR16m (US$21.5m) for 6 years, and production will start in 2013 from Kongsberg’s facility in Vrable, Slovakia.
