Hyundai Motor India (HMIL) has announced an additional investment of US$300m to establish a flexible engine plant and a new press shop at its factory in Irungattukkottaim, Chennai.
Hyundai Motor India (HMIL) has announced an additional investment of US$300m to establish a flexible engine plant and a new press shop at its factory in Irungattukkottaim, Chennai.
The automaker added that this investment would be on top of the ongoing investments in new models, reported the Hindu.
HMIL managing director Bo Shin Seo said: “This investment will help us meet the growing demand for diesel vehicles in India and reduce the waiting period.”
