The company is expected to sell around 1,000 cars in Penang in 2011, meaning the company expects to sell around 2,000 cars in the region in 2012.
“We will establish three new 3S centres in Seberang Prai, Ipoh and Taiping from now till the first quarter of 2012. Subsequently, there will be seven more new 3S centres, of which one will be in Batu Pahat, two in Selangor and four in the Klang Valley,” said Ho.
According to Ho, a 3S centre requires start-up costs of MYR1.5m to MYR2m (US$ 480,000 – US$ 635,000).
The company is hoping that sales will be boosted by new models and the region’s new service centres.
