Saab AB’s receivers are auctioning off a number of cars including models of which only a few were made, as well as those the defunct automaker began to produce but which never made it to market.
The online auction of 68 Saabs includes cars that cannot be driven on the road, others ready for immediate use and some which need to be completed or registered.

The offering includes two 9-3 Cabriolet Independence Editions, a special model made in 2011 to celebrate Saab’s first year as an independent car manufacturer. The intention was to produce 366 cars but production was stopped due to the bankruptcy and only 38 examples exist.
The auction also includes 18 of the 30 9-5 SportCombis (wagons) made and 29 of the 54 2012 model year 9-5 sedans built, including the last unit fully finished at Trollhattan.
Of about 700 examples of Saab’s SUV, the GM Mexico-built 9-4X, there are 10 in the auction including the car with chassis number 1 for the European market.
Other models are one of the three existing 9-3 SportCombis painted sky blue and the 9-5 Aero V6 300hp automatic used as a company car by Victor Muller.
